Everyone will be doing field journals for homework this week.  That includes a written explanation or exploration and coordinating drawing or image.  The higher your grade level, the more I expect.  You can look at examples I posted earlier by clicking over there. >>>>>>>>>>>
HOMEWORK due January 13, 2021 in class:
9 & 10th Graders: 
  • Study for quiz.
  • Draw (or find a picture about) and Write notes about 3 things you learned or want to explore about something from this week. 
7th Graders: 
  • Study for quiz.
  • Draw (or find a picture about) and Write notes about 2 things you learned or want to explore about something from this week. 
5th Graders: 
  • Draw (or find a picture about) and Write notes about 1 thing you learned or want to explore about something from this week. 
WHAT TO EXPECT THIS SEMESTER:
  • New pattern for how class will work every other week:  One week will be Chemistry concepts, practicing, and activities; sometimes there might be a lab.  The other week will be partner review, quiz, and labs.
  • Homework will be watching videos and taking notes OR field journals from class topics
  • On the weeks of videos, it will be more like sanding your surface so when we have class the ideas will stick better.  Not expected to understand it all, just be introduced to the ideas.
IN CLASS TOPICS:
