One cold snowy day, we went to Robby’s house at 4am and stole Zippy. Zippy barked. To make him stop barking, we gave him colored marshmallows. Zippy made us breakfast at Robby’s house. He flipped us some pancakes in the kitchen. Zippy hogged the pancakes. Then we took him home. The snow looked like powdered sugar. Zippy jumped and skidded down the hill in the woods into a big pile of snow. Then Zippy met Copper. They swished and swirled and played in the snow. They flattened the snowballs we piled up for the snowball fight. The dogs made snow dogs. We made snow angels. Then the dogs played tag. The dogs were exhausted so they went inside and sat down to nibble marshmallows, drink cocoa, watch TV, and yelp at the fireplace because the fireplace was burning their booties. Louise walked over to try to find Zippy, so Zippy and Copper ran outside and clobbered and kicked her. She swatted them, then turned around and ran back home. There was a parade in town so we had to leave our house. We left the dogs inside. When we got back, the dogs were eating bread and pancakes and listening to the radio. There were muddy footprints all over.
