  • Start researching your expository topic (if you need to). 
  • Make sure to take notes and write the website they came from.
  • Get started writing if you're ready. 
5th Graders: 
  • Use the pre-writing planner to help you make some notes about your topic. 
  • Start researching your topic (if you need to).  Write down the website, book, or source with your notes.
