ELEMENTARY

Go to Week 3 Science Homework
ELEMENTARY CLASS WRITING HOMEWORK:

WRITING:
  • Remember our story, CLICK CLACK MOO Cows That Type?  Be inspired by what the cows and ducks did.  Use your imagination to write a letter to yourself from one of your animals.  (Your animals don't have to be demanding.  They might be happy.)
  • 2nd grade and up, underline some nouns.
  • Use your best spelling, but don’t let it slow you down too much.
  • Length: 1st-2nd grade, 3-5 sentences.  3rd grade and older, 6+ sentences.
  • Parents can transcribe what the student says, word for word so the student's true voice can be heard.  (These are just guidelines; write longer or shorter if the student needs/wants to.)
  • Need to remember what book we read about letters? Go here and listen again: CLICK CLACK MOO Cows That Type

HANDWRITING:
  • Blue Books: Do pages 5, 8, 9.
  • Yellow Books: Trace page 6, do page 7 and 9 (Parents please do the mystery part with your child on page 9, choosing from the capitals on that page--you pick one and say it and the child writes it.)
  • Orange Books: Trace page 6, do page 7 & 9.

HIGH SCHOOL

HIGH SCHOOL CLASS HOMEWORK
  • Journal of your choice using a different voice (like the hamster book). Become the person/thing/animal, etc. Make sure to have a title and spruce up some verbs.
